Integrity failures rarely begin with dramatic crimes. They start with a routine gift that is never recorded, a relative who is quietly awarded a contract, or a manager who approves a payment because declining feels awkward. Where oversight is thin, these small lapses accumulate into systemic corruption that drains budgets, discourages honest suppliers and damages trust with citizens, donors and investors.
The Applied Anti-Bribery, Ethics & Conflict of Interest Training Course is designed to move organisations from policy statements to workable practice. Participants begin with the ethical principles and legal concepts behind bribery and conflicts, then learn to assess integrity risk across functions such as procurement, hiring, licensing and finance. The programme goes on to cover designing controls, training staff, vetting third parties, handling reports of wrongdoing and responding when allegations arise.
Instruction mixes short briefings with realistic dilemmas, group problem-solving and document drafting. Participants analyse anonymised scenarios, test their judgement against recognised standards and prepare tools such as a declaration form, a gifts register and a reporting procedure that can be adopted when they return to work.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
