Most workplace problems that look like technical failures are really communication failures: unclear instructions, missing context, reports that bury the recommendation and presentations that talk at an audience rather than to it. The cost is repeated work, slow approvals and weakened relationships with clients, donors and colleagues.
This course treats writing, presenting and everyday communication as a single applied skill set. Participants begin by learning to think about purpose and reader before they type or speak. They then rework real documents using clear structure, concise wording and a consistent tone, before moving on to longer formats such as business reports and proposals. The speaking half of the programme builds a presentation from the key message outward, explores slides as support rather than script, and develops delivery through repeated short practice rounds that are observed and discussed.
Everything is practical. Participants bring examples of their own emails, reports and presentations, receive individual feedback from the trainer and peers, and leave with checklists and templates they can reuse. Because exercises are short and frequent, even those who dislike speaking or writing quickly build confidence.
