Distributed ledgers, smart contracts and tokenised assets are moving from experiments to production in payments, trade, identity and public records. At the same time artificial intelligence, connected devices and cloud platforms are changing the systems that blockchain must work with. Leaders who cannot tell a durable use case from a fad risk wasting budgets or missing real opportunities.
The Blockchain and Emerging Technologies Training Course takes participants from first principles to working prototypes over ten days. The first week explains cryptographic foundations, consensus, network types and smart contract development, with participants writing, testing and deploying code. The second week widens the scope to integration with oracles, digital identity, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things data, then examines security, governance, regulation, scalability and sustainability. Throughout, each technology is tested against a simple question: does it solve a problem better than a conventional database or service?
The course is laboratory-based, with extended practice time and a team project in the final days. Participants produce a prototype, a risk register and a business case, giving them a concrete record of what they can build and recommend.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
