This course treats data science as a practical discipline built on solid fundamentals: Python programming, statistical reasoning, and iterative model building. Participants work through the full pipeline, from importing messy data to engineering features, training supervised and unsupervised models, and validating results against business questions rather than accuracy scores alone.
The later sessions cover model comparison, basic deployment concepts and the communication skills data scientists need to keep technical work connected to organisational decisions. Every exercise uses realistic, sector-relevant datasets so skills transfer directly to participants' own environments.
Throughout the programme, participants work through realistic scenarios drawn from technology organizations, digital transformation programmes, data-driven enterprises, and public sector IT environments, examining how data science with python is applied in practice and where it most often breaks down.
