Organisations now produce more digital content in a month than they once did in a year, spread across email, chat, cloud drives and line-of-business systems. Without clear ownership, structure and retention rules, that content becomes a liability: audit findings, lost institutional memory, duplicated work and exposure when information must be produced for regulators, donors or courts.
The Digital Documentation & Knowledge Mastery for Future-Ready Organizations Training Course takes an advanced, whole-system view. Participants begin with information audits and risk mapping, then design the foundations of a controlled environment: classification schemes, metadata, naming standards, version control and approval workflows. They move on to electronic records management, retention and disposal, information security and the principles in ISO 15489 and ISO 30301, before turning to knowledge management practice, including knowledge capture, sharing platforms, succession handover and measuring the value of what is retained.
Learning is hands-on. Participants work with sample document sets, build a small taxonomy and metadata template, draft a policy, and finish with a roadmap for modernising documentation and knowledge practice in their own institution.
