Bribery and conflicts of interest rarely announce themselves. They hide in vendor onboarding, in approvals that always go to the same names and in gifts that nobody records. As transactions, payments and communications move online, the evidence needed to detect these risks increasingly exists in data, but many ethics functions still rely on annual forms and the goodwill of staff.
The Digital Transformation in Anti-Bribery, Ethics & Conflict of Interest Training Course shows how to redesign integrity controls around technology without losing sight of human judgement. Participants review the elements of an effective anti-bribery programme, then translate each into a digital control: automated declarations with reminders and escalation, rules for approving or declining gifts, risk-based counterparty screening, workflow for investigations and dashboards for the board. They also consider the limits of automation, including false positives, privacy obligations, fairness to staff and the cultural change needed before any system is trusted.
Learning is practical. Participants work with sample registers, vendor and payment extracts and mock case files, and finish by drafting an implementation roadmap, a requirements list for a digital platform and a set of indicators to report to senior management.
