Written communication is how an organisation proves what it decided and why. When emails ramble, reports bury the recommendation or minutes record conversation rather than decisions, managers waste time, auditors lose confidence and boards cannot hold anyone to account. At the same time, the tools used to write have changed: drafts are co-edited online, meetings are recorded, and AI assistants offer instant text that may or may not be accurate.
The Digital Transformation in Business Writing & Minute Taking Training Course helps administrative professionals adjust their craft to this setting. It opens with audience analysis, purpose and structure, then develops sentence-level clarity, tone and editing. Participants move on to the formal duties of a minute taker, including preparing agendas and papers, recording motions and resolutions, distinguishing action from discussion, and circulating minutes for approval. The digital layer follows: templates, styles, shared drives, tracked changes, e-signatures, speech-to-text and AI drafting with proper checks.
Every session is hands-on. Participants write and edit real-style documents, take minutes from recorded meetings and finish with a personal toolkit of templates, a naming convention and a short policy on responsible AI use in their own office.
