Expectations are set by the best experiences customers have anywhere, and they are quick to move, or to complain publicly, when an organisation falls short. In government and regulated industries, citizens and regulators demand fair, timely service. Leaders who rely on isolated training or a complaints desk discover that most poor experiences are caused by policies, systems and handovers that sit well outside the front line.
The Executive Customer Service & Experience Training Course positions service as an organisation-wide system. Participants begin with strategy: customer promise, segmentation, brand and value proposition. They then analyse journeys and touchpoints across channels, use data and feedback to identify root causes, and decide where redesign or investment will make the largest difference. The programme also addresses complaint management, service recovery, vulnerable customers, service partners and the contribution of technology, including automation and digital channels, without losing the human element.
Because the audience is senior, the emphasis is on decisions: what to measure, what to fund, which behaviours to reward and how to sustain change. Participants analyse sample customer data, critique real service failures and build a customer experience roadmap for their own organisation, which they present for feedback on the last day.
