Digital transformation in human resources is no longer limited to large corporations. Mid-sized firms, county governments, universities and NGOs are adopting cloud HR systems, e-recruitment, biometric attendance and automated payroll. The promise is faster service and fewer errors, but the investment is substantial, and decisions are frequently made on vendor claims rather than a sound financial case.
The Financial Management for Digital HR & Process Automation Training Course equips HR and finance colleagues to examine these investments together. Participants start by establishing the baseline: what HR processes currently cost in staff time, errors, delays and paper. They then learn core financial techniques, including cost-benefit analysis, discounted cash flow, sensitivity testing and budgeting for implementation, training, integration and ongoing support.
Later sessions address governance and control. Participants consider how to select and contract vendors, manage change costs, protect payroll integrity, and report benefits realised against the original case. Exercises rely on simple spreadsheet models and worked examples, so no advanced accounting knowledge is assumed. By the end, each participant has a costed proposal and a tracking plan for an HR automation initiative.
