Human resource departments hold some of the most sensitive and process-heavy records in any organisation. Contracts, leave balances, appraisals and disciplinary files often sit in folders, inboxes and personal spreadsheets. As organisations grow, expand to new locations or adopt remote work, this approach produces delays, errors and compliance gaps, and it leaves HR with little time for strategic work.
The programme introduces digital HR in a structured way for people with no technical background. Participants begin by documenting how a process works today, identifying delay, duplication and risk, and deciding what should be fixed before technology is applied. They then explore the types of tools available, from complete human resource information systems to lightweight forms and workflow apps, and learn how to define requirements, compare vendors and plan a rollout.
Hands-on sessions cover automation of common processes such as onboarding checklists, leave approvals, document generation and reminders. A further module shows how to turn HR data into useful reports while respecting privacy and security rules. Participants conclude by preparing an automation roadmap and a business case for their own organisation.
