Organisations are changing faster than their governance. Digital programmes, mergers, outsourcing, hybrid working and culture resets all alter roles, reporting lines and daily conduct, often under pressure to show quick results. When staff feel that consultation was a formality, or when a policy is applied unevenly, the result is disputes, lost trust, regulatory attention and reversal of the very change that was intended.
The programme gives HR, OD and compliance professionals a structured way to govern people-related change. It starts with accountability: who sponsors, who decides, who is consulted and how decisions are recorded. Participants then work through the compliance dimension of each intervention, including consultation duties, fair process, equal opportunity, data protection, whistleblowing and conflict of interest, before examining how to measure culture credibly and avoid misusing survey results. Later sessions turn to policy frameworks, internal controls over change projects and the assurance reporting that audit committees expect.
The approach is case based. Participants analyse realistic restructuring and culture scenarios, test them against checklists, and prepare a governance charter and compliance review they can adapt in their own organisations.
