Hadoop clusters underpin many enterprise big data platforms, and poor administration leads directly to downtime, data loss, and runaway costs. This advanced course trains systems and data administrators to install, configure, and manage the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), YARN, and core ecosystem components.
Participants work hands-on with cluster setup, resource management, security configuration, and troubleshooting scenarios, building the operational confidence needed to run Hadoop reliably in production.
Throughout the programme, participants work through realistic scenarios drawn from technology organizations, digital transformation programmes, data-driven enterprises, and public sector IT environments, examining how hadoop administration is applied in practice and where it most often breaks down. Delegates will develop practical skill in designing appropriate frameworks, selecting and applying the right tools for high availability and fault tolerance, interpreting findings, and communicating conclusions clearly to colleagues, management and external stakeholders. Sessions move deliberately from principles to application, so that each technique introduced is practised against a realistic problem before the programme moves on — strengthening both individual effectiveness and the wider capability of the organizations delegates return to.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Hadoop Administration Training is aimed at technical staff who carry operational responsibility for cluster uptime, capacity and security rather than for writing analytics code.
By the end of the Hadoop Administration Training, participants will leave with:
This training course adopts a practical, participant-centered learning approach that builds hadoop administration expertise, strengthens analytical capability and develops confident professional judgement. The methodology combines specialist facilitation, applied hands-on experience and globally recognized professional practice, so that delegates return able to apply what they have learned immediately rather than in theory only.
Methodology includes:
Delegates who finish all ten days receive a Certificate of Completion from Vision Reach Global Consultancy, recognising demonstrated competence in installing, configuring, securing, monitoring and troubleshooting Hadoop clusters running HDFS and YARN.
Certificates are issued in the delegate’s name on completion of the programme and are suitable for submission towards continuing professional development requirements. Vision Reach Global Consultancy verifies every certificate it issues on request.
