Energy costs, supply reliability and climate commitments have moved from the sustainability report to the boardroom. Customers and lenders increasingly ask suppliers to show how they manage energy and carbon, and governments are tightening expectations on reporting and efficiency. Organisations that rely on one-off audits find that savings fade, because no one owns the routine of measuring, reviewing and improving.
This ten-day programme builds capability in two linked areas. The first is the ISO 50001 energy management system standard, understood through the plan-do-check-act cycle: how to establish context and leadership commitment, carry out an energy review, identify significant energy uses, choose performance indicators, build baselines, set objectives and action plans, control operations and procurement, monitor, audit and review. The second is climate change mitigation at organisational level. Participants compile a greenhouse gas inventory, understand how energy use drives Scope 1 and 2 emissions, set science-aligned targets, and evaluate mitigation options through cost curves and business cases that cover efficiency, fuel switching, on-site and purchased renewables, process change and value chain engagement.
Learning relies on a case organisation which participants build up through the ten days, so that exercises accumulate into a complete energy management and mitigation package. Sample utility data, audit templates and spreadsheet models are provided for practice.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

The ten days follow the sequence of a real implementation, using a single case organisation. Activities include:
A CPD-accredited Certificate of Completion issued by Vision Reach Global Consultancy is awarded to participants who attend the ten days and complete the practical deliverables. The certificate records attendance and learning; it is not a certification of any management system.
