Digital tools promised to simplify work, but for many teams they have added channels, notifications and versions to manage. Staff who are fluent can find information, co-author documents and run a meeting from anywhere; those who are not rely on email attachments and phone calls and slow everyone around them. The difference rarely lies in the software itself. It lies in skills, shared habits and how managers guide adoption.
This programme addresses both levels. First, participants strengthen personal fluency: organising inboxes and calendars, searching and storing files in the cloud, collaborating on documents, joining and chairing online meetings, and using shared task and chat tools sensibly. Secondly, they learn how to manage a toolset on behalf of a team, including needs analysis, selection criteria, training plans, policies on acceptable use and ways to measure whether a new tool is making a difference.
Practical work uses scenarios from administrative, programme and field offices. Participants practise on both major suites and leave with a team charter, an adoption plan and a set of quick reference guides for their colleagues.
