Donors, boards and communities expect programme evidence to be timely, credible and open to scrutiny. Digital tools make collection quicker and cheaper, yet they introduce fresh risks: poorly designed forms, inconsistent indicators, unmanaged devices and breaches of beneficiary privacy. The people who manage MEAL systems must therefore think like quality controllers, system designers and communicators at once.
The Management of Digital MEAL, Dashboards & Data Quality Training Course gives participants a structured way to do this. It begins with the MEAL framework and the design of a digital data ecosystem, then moves through form building, offline collection, enumerator management and data protection. Participants study the dimensions of data quality, apply data quality assessment checklists, and set routines for cleaning and verification before turning to analysis and dashboard design, including choice of charts, filters and refresh cycles.
The final sessions address feedback and complaints mechanisms, learning events, and how dashboards inform adaptive decisions. The course is delivered as a workshop with practical labs, and every participant prepares a digital MEAL improvement plan for a real or simulated programme.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
