Monitoring and evaluation has moved from quarterly spreadsheets to near real-time reporting. Mobile data collection, national health information systems and cloud BI tools mean that results can be visualised as soon as field teams submit them. The risk is that organisations build attractive dashboards on weak foundations: indicators without agreed definitions, double-counted beneficiaries, unclear baselines and visuals that nobody consults when decisions are made.
The Monitoring and Evaluation of Dashboards & BI (Power BI, Tableau) Training Course connects sound M&E practice with modern BI tools. Participants start from the logframe or theory of change and work through indicator design, data flows and the structure of a reporting data model. The middle of the week is hands-on in Power BI and Tableau, covering data preparation, measures for targets and actuals, disaggregation, geographic views and narrative design for donor and management audiences. The final sessions turn the evaluative lens on the dashboards themselves, examining quality assurance, access controls, adoption metrics and how to judge whether a reporting product has improved decisions.
Every participant works on a laptop with sample programme datasets covering health, education, livelihoods and humanitarian response. By the end of the week each has built, tested and presented a dashboard aligned to a real results framework.
After the five days, participants will be able to:

A CPD-accredited Certificate of Completion issued by Vision Reach Global Consultancy is awarded to participants who attend all sessions and complete the dashboard labs and the final presentation.
Participants also keep the dashboard file, indicator map and data quality checklist they built, which serve as practical evidence of competence for their organisation.
