Organisations rely on data pipelines, relational databases and enterprise resource planning systems to run finance, supply chain, human resources and customer operations. When these systems degrade, the consequences appear as late reports, wrong stock figures, audit queries and decisions made on unreliable numbers. Monitoring tells a team that something is wrong today; evaluation tells leadership whether the platform is delivering value over time. Most organisations do the first poorly and the second rarely.
The Monitoring and Evaluation of Data Engineering, Databases & ERP Data Training Course applies the logic of monitoring and evaluation to the data estate. The first five days cover what to measure and how: indicators for pipelines, databases and ERP data, automated checks, dashboards and incident handling. The second five days move into evaluation: data quality assessments, reconciliation and audit, user and process review, maturity assessment, cost and benefit analysis, and the design of improvement programmes with governance and accountability.
The course is highly practical. Participants configure checks and dashboards in lab environments, analyse sample ERP extracts for integrity problems and conduct a structured evaluation of a case platform, reporting findings and recommendations as they would to a steering committee.
By the end of the ten days, participants will be able to:
