Digital tools only create value when people use them well. Whether the investment is in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, collaboration platforms or a community digital literacy project, funders and executives increasingly ask for proof that skills improved and work changed. Without a sound monitoring and evaluation approach, that question cannot be answered credibly.
The Monitoring and Evaluation of Digital Fluency & Workplace Tools Training Course applies standard evaluation thinking to a subject that is often measured badly. Participants define what digital fluency means for different roles, set performance levels, and design logical frameworks that connect training and tool deployment to behaviour and results. They practise building indicators, selecting sampling approaches, and collecting data through assessments, surveys, observation and system logs.
The later sessions deal with analysis and use. Delegates interpret adoption figures, compare cohorts, test for attribution cautiously and write findings that decision-makers will act on. They also consider how to collect evidence about staff tool use ethically, with consent and proper data protection. The teaching style is workshop based, with templates for baselines, indicator sheets and learning reports that participants adapt to their own settings.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
The course will benefit professionals responsible for digital capability and its measurement, such as:
Participants take back to their organisations:
The course is conducted as a practical clinic, using:
Attendance and completion of the practical assignments earn each participant a CPD-accredited Certificate of Completion issued by Vision Reach Global Consultancy.
Alongside the certificate, participants keep the indicator sheet, survey instruments and evaluation plan they adapted during the clinic, which provide tangible evidence of the competence developed.
