Cloud services are now the default place to run new applications, and the expectations on engineering teams have risen with them. Releases are expected weekly or daily, systems must stay available, security findings must be fixed before launch and finance departments want to know why the monthly invoice keeps growing. Organisations that treat these as separate problems often end up with tool sprawl and friction between development, operations and finance.
This programme joins the disciplines into one practical path. Participants begin with cloud strategy and foundational architecture, then automate how software is built, tested, secured and deployed. They provision environments as code, run containerised workloads on Kubernetes, and instrument systems so incidents are detected and learned from. A dedicated block introduces FinOps practice so engineering choices carry visible cost, and platform engineering principles so shared capability is packaged as a product for internal teams.
Work is dominated by laboratories on a shared cloud sandbox, with a continuous case project that grows from a simple application into a governed, observable and cost-managed service. Participants close the programme by presenting a roadmap tailored to their own organisation and receiving feedback from facilitators and peers.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:
The programme is intended for technical practitioners and leaders responsible for building and running cloud-based services, such as:
Participants leave with:
The programme is delivered as a sequence of engineering labs. Participants experience:
Participants who attend the ten days and complete the laboratories receive a CPD-accredited Certificate of Completion from Vision Reach Global Consultancy. The certificate is not a vendor credential from any cloud provider.
