Participants model data with fact and dimension tables, build calculations in DAX and in Tableau's calculation language, and construct visualisations including maps, matrices, trend lines and KPI cards. Further sessions address performance tuning, interactivity, security and governance, and the publication and maintenance of reports in a shared workspace.

Every concept is practised on supplied datasets resembling sales, finance, survey and programme data. By the end, each delegate has built and presented a working dashboard and holds a checklist for reviewing the quality of any report before release.
