Integrity failures are among the most costly risks an organisation can face. Donors, regulators and business partners now expect documented controls, not just a code of conduct on the website. Where the controls are missing, bribery tends to hide in routine activities such as procurement, licensing, recruitment and the handling of cash.
Professional Anti-Bribery, Ethics & Conflict of Interest Training Course takes participants from principles to working systems. It starts with the ethical and legal foundations and how bribery, fraud, collusion and extortion differ. Participants then conduct a bribery risk assessment, set out the policies and tone from the top that a credible programme needs, and examine how conflicts of interest arise, are declared and are managed. Later sessions cover dealing with agents, consultants and suppliers, training and communication, reporting channels, protection of those who raise concerns and fair, documented investigations.
The training is interactive and built on realistic dilemmas. Participants analyse cases from procurement, grants management and public service delivery, test their own organisation's policies against good practice and finish with a compliance improvement plan they can present to management.
