Almost every professional task depends on communicating well: winning approval for a budget, explaining a policy to the public, briefing a minister, reporting to a donor or presenting to a client. Yet few people receive structured training in writing and speaking, and habits formed early in a career often go uncorrected for decades.
The Professional Communication, Presentation & Business Writing Training Course addresses both halves of the skill. Writing sessions move from purpose and audience analysis through structure, plain language, editing and document types including emails, reports, proposals, executive summaries and minutes. Presentation sessions develop storylines, visual aids, voice, posture and techniques for managing nerves, hostile questions and online delivery. Further modules look at meeting leadership, negotiation language, feedback conversations and communicating across cultures and hierarchies.
Participants write and present throughout the week. They bring real documents for peer review, deliver short recorded talks, rework their own slides and finish by producing a polished piece of writing and a short presentation which show measurable improvement against their starting point, along with a realistic plan for continuing to practise once the course ends.
