Customer experience is now treated as a strategic asset, and with that status comes exposure. Complaints that escalate to regulators or the media, mis-selling, unfair terms, failed digital channels, impersonation fraud targeting customers and agents, and careless handling of personal data all originate or surface at the point of service. Organisations that manage these risks only after an incident pay through compensation, regulatory sanctions, customer churn and lost trust.
The Risk Management for Customer Service & Experience Training Course equips service leaders and risk professionals to manage these exposures systematically. The programme starts with a risk-based view of the customer journey and the main categories of customer-facing risk, then builds the assessment toolkit: risk registers, heat maps, FMEA and bow-tie analysis. Participants go on to design controls for complaints, conduct and vulnerability, fraud and information security, and third-party service providers, before addressing continuity planning, incident escalation and crisis communication. The final day links everything to key risk indicators, management reporting and a culture in which frontline staff raise concerns early.
The approach is workshop-based. Teams map a customer journey from a bank, telecom operator or utility, score the risks they find, test controls through scenario drills and present a monitoring plan to a simulated risk committee.

The certificate lists the course title, dates and delivery format, and the risk register and monitoring plan prepared in class provide supporting evidence for performance reviews.
