Social media has become the front desk of most organisations. Customers complain there, journalists look for stories there, and donors, applicants and regulators form quick impressions from what is posted. Yet many teams still run their accounts informally, with no calendar, no approval path and no way of showing what the effort achieves.
The Social Media Management and Digital Communication Training Course treats social channels as a managed communication function. It starts with objectives, audiences and platform choice, then moves through content planning, copywriting, design and video using free and low-cost tools such as Canva and CapCut. Participants learn how algorithms reward consistency and conversation, how to schedule with tools like Meta Business Suite, and how to set up listening so that mentions, questions and complaints are caught early.
The programme then deals with growth and risk: paid campaigns, influencer briefs, community guidelines, handling hostile comments, misinformation and reputational crises, and the legal and ethical points around permissions, privacy and disclosure. Teaching is workshop based. Participants audit their own accounts, draft a thirty-day calendar, build a simple reporting dashboard and rehearse a crisis response, leaving with materials they can use the following Monday.
