Every organisation depends on people explaining things well: a manager justifying a budget, an officer briefing a minister, a project lead winning donor confidence. Yet much workplace communication is long, vague and aimed at no one in particular. Readers skim, listeners switch off, and decisions are delayed or made without the facts.
The Strategic Communication, Presentation and Business Writing programme links three skills that are usually taught separately. Participants first learn to think strategically about communication, identifying the audience, the purpose and the single message that matters most. They then apply this thinking to spoken delivery, learning to structure and deliver presentations, use visuals sparingly and respond calmly under questioning. The writing component covers the documents professionals produce every day, including emails, meeting notes, briefing papers, reports and proposals, with emphasis on structure, concision, tone and editing.
The course is workshop-based: participants speak and write throughout, receive structured feedback from facilitators and peers, and revise their work. They leave with reusable templates and a personal improvement plan covering the habits that will strengthen their influence at work.
