Everything covered in this programme, so you can confirm it's the right fit before you complete your registration above.
This 5-day technical course covers supply chain optimization modeling and analysis. Participants learn network design optimization, facility location modeling, distribution network configuration, and route optimization using quantitative methods and simulation tools.
The programme includes scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and optimization software application that enable data-driven supply chain redesign decisions that reduce costs significantly while improving service levels and operational performance.
Throughout the programme, participants work through realistic scenarios drawn from public procurement bodies, commercial supply chains, logistics operations, and donor-funded tendering environments, examining how supply chain optimization modeling is applied in practice and where it most often breaks down. Delegates will develop practical skill in designing appropriate frameworks, selecting and applying the right tools for supply chain simulation, interpreting findings, and communicating conclusions clearly to colleagues, management and external stakeholders. Sessions move deliberately from principles to application, so that each technique introduced is practised against a realistic problem before the programme moves on — strengthening both individual effectiveness and the wider capability of the organizations delegates return to.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
This course is for analysts who apply quantitative modeling to design and optimize supply chain networks for cost, service and resilience.
By the end of the Supply Chain Optimization Modeling Training, participants will leave with:
This training course adopts a practical, participant-centered learning approach that builds supply chain optimization modeling expertise, strengthens analytical capability and develops confident professional judgement. The methodology combines specialist facilitation, applied hands-on experience and globally recognized professional practice, so that delegates return able to apply what they have learned immediately rather than in theory only.
Methodology includes:
Participants who complete the five days receive a Certificate of Completion from Vision Reach Global Consultancy, confirming their grounding in supply chain optimization modeling practice.
The certificate confirms attendance and successful participation, is recognized by employers across the public, private and development sectors, and can be verified directly with Vision Reach Global Consultancy on request.
