You start by deciding which questions matter, translating strategy into KPIs, targets and thresholds, then connect to Excel, CSV files, databases and cloud sources. In Power BI you clean data with Power Query, build star-schema models and write DAX measures for time comparisons and variances. In Tableau you create calculated fields, level of detail expressions, parameters and interactive actions. Design sessions cover chart choice, colour, layout, storytelling and accessibility, followed by publishing, refresh scheduling, row-level security and sharing. Delivery is classroom, online or in-house with laptops. Afterwards you can deliver a working scorecard on your own data and run a performance review from it.
