Retrofit sessions show how to rank measures by payback and carbon saving, assess solar PV and other on-site options, and fix the control settings and maintenance habits that waste energy.
The second half builds the management system around the technical work: ISO 50001 principles, metering and sub-metering, targets, monitoring dashboards and measurement and verification of savings. Facilities managers, building engineers, energy managers, sustainability officers, property managers and estate directors in commercial, hospital, hotel, school and public buildings are the intended audience. Classroom, online and in-house formats are available. You finish with a decarbonisation roadmap for a building of your choice. Learning is done through calculations, audit worksheets and a worked building case that runs through the week. By the end each participant has produced an audit summary, a prioritised measures list and a draft decarbonisation roadmap suited to their own estate.
