Digital fluency is no longer a specialist skill. Every department expects staff to move comfortably between email, shared documents, video calls and spreadsheets, and to make sense of the numbers that appear in reports. Employees who lack this fluency depend on colleagues for routine tasks, while organisations lose time to duplicated files, avoidable errors and weak data habits.
Data and Analytics for Digital Fluency and Workplace Tools starts with the basics of devices, files and cloud folders and builds towards collaborative working in Microsoft 365. Participants then move into practical data work in Excel: entering data cleanly, using formulas, creating pivot tables and producing charts that tell a story. A parallel thread develops digital judgement, including how to protect accounts, recognise scams and handle personal and organisational information responsibly.
The programme is pitched at beginners and uses short, repeatable exercises on real-looking office material such as attendance lists, budgets, stock sheets and activity reports. Participants keep their completed files as models and finish with a small project that combines collaboration, analysis and presentation.
