Transformation programmes now routinely promise real-time reporting, automation and machine learning, but each of those depends on data that moves reliably between systems. In many institutions the core ERP, the legacy databases and a growing set of cloud applications hold overlapping versions of the truth. Finance, procurement, human resources and operations each build their own extracts, and the cost of reconciling them keeps rising.
This advanced programme addresses the engineering side of that problem. Participants assess their current data estate, then design a target architecture that may combine a warehouse, lakehouse and operational stores. They learn the patterns used to pull data out of ERP systems without disrupting transactions, to model it for analysis, and to build tested pipelines that run on a schedule or on events. The second week deepens the work with performance tuning, orchestration, streaming, governance, security and the operational discipline of DataOps.
Because the subject is practical, most of each day is spent in the lab on realistic ERP-style datasets. Participants finish with a working pipeline, a documented target architecture and a phased migration plan for their own organisation.
