Leaders are increasingly judged on measurable delivery: strategic targets met, budgets absorbed, service standards kept and teams retained. Boards, ministries and executive committees want this information regularly and in a consistent form, while leaders themselves need honest feedback in order to improve. Digital platforms now make it possible to bring performance contract results, project milestones, survey feedback and people metrics into a single view, but only if the right things are measured and the data is trusted.
The Leadership Monitoring Platforms Training Course explains how to design and run such a system, from first principles to a working dashboard. Participants define leadership outcomes and indicators using the balanced scorecard and OKRs, then examine the data sources that feed them, from HR information systems and project trackers to 360-degree assessments and pulse surveys. Practical sessions cover data models and visual design in Power BI and Excel, review routines such as quarterly stocktakes and delivery reports, and the ethical questions raised by monitoring people, including privacy, fairness and the risk of gaming targets.
The programme is taught through hands-on dashboard labs with sample organisational data, case studies from public agencies and companies, and group design work. Each participant finishes with a prototype scorecard and a plan for introducing it in their own organisation.
