Buildings use a large share of the electricity consumed in most cities, and much of it is wasted through oversized plant, poor controls, leaky envelopes and habits that no one has measured. For owners, wasted energy is a direct hit on net operating income. For occupiers and investors, it is increasingly a reputational and financing question as carbon reporting and green lending criteria spread.
This programme follows the path a building manager takes from data to decarbonisation. Participants start with energy accounting: reading bills, installing meters, cleaning interval data and calculating performance indicators for comparison across a portfolio. They then examine how energy is used in major building systems, learn to run a structured audit, and prioritise measures by cost, savings and disruption. The later sessions address on-site renewables, procurement of cleaner power, carbon accounting and the governance needed to keep savings from eroding after a project ends.
Teaching relies on sample building data, audit templates and a site walk-through exercise. Participants complete a baseline, a short list of costed measures and a phased roadmap for a building or portfolio they manage.
After the training, participants will be able to:
The programme is aimed at those who own, operate or advise on buildings, such as:

The course is hands-on and uses real building data wherever possible. It includes:
On completing all sessions and the practical work, each participant receives a CPD-accredited Certificate of Completion from Vision Reach Global Consultancy, recording the programme title and dates attended.
