Digital tools now sit at the centre of everyday work, from writing and calculating to meeting, approving and storing records. Organisations that invest in them without investing in people see low adoption, duplicated effort and security lapses. Those that plan carefully see faster collaboration, better use of data and easier remote working.
The Planning and Implementation of Digital Fluency & Workplace Tools Training Course focuses on the management side of digital skills as well as the tools themselves. Participants begin by defining what digital fluency means for different roles, then assess where staff stand today using surveys, observation and usage analytics. They use the findings to prioritise needs, choose or configure workplace platforms, and build a learning pathway that mixes short workshops, job aids, peer support and practice tasks.
Hands-on sessions let participants experience core features of mainstream productivity suites, including shared documents, channels, calendars, forms, workflows and basic data analysis in spreadsheets. They also learn how to set naming conventions, folder structures and permissions so that information stays findable and secure. The later sessions concentrate on implementation: pilot groups, communication, champions, helpdesk arrangements, resistance and measurement. Each participant produces a rollout plan covering scope, timeline, budget, risks and success measures suited to their organisation.
