Cloud bills that grow faster than revenue, release cycles measured in months and fragile hand-built infrastructure are common complaints from boards and technology leaders alike. Fixing them needs decisions about architecture, people, process and money together, not another tool purchase.
Ten days take senior engineers and technology executives from cloud strategy through hands-on delivery practice. The first week covers landing zones, identity, networking, multi-cloud and hybrid choices, shared responsibility and security, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, containers, infrastructure as code with Terraform and an introduction to Kubernetes. The second week deepens into GitOps, observability, SRE practice, service level objectives, incident response, DevSecOps, FinOps tagging, showback and chargeback, rightsizing and commitment discounts, then platform engineering, golden paths and internal developer portals. Labs run on a public cloud sandbox and finish with an integrated project. CTOs, heads of IT, cloud architects, DevOps and platform leads, engineering managers, IT finance and procurement staff and technical consultants in banks, telecoms, government and software firms will gain a roadmap they can defend. Classroom, online and in-house formats are available, with a CPD-accredited certificate for those who complete the programme.
Cloud adoption has made it easy to start projects and equally easy to lose control of cost, security and reliability. Many organisations now run a patchwork of accounts, pipelines and manually managed resources, with each team solving the same problems differently. Technology leaders are asked to speed up delivery, keep systems available, meet data residency and regulatory requirements and justify spending, all at once.
The Executive Cloud, DevOps, FinOps & Platform Engineering Training Course joins four disciplines that are usually taught separately. It begins with cloud strategy and architecture, including landing zones, identity, networking, resilience and security. The delivery strand covers version control, continuous integration and delivery, containers, orchestration and infrastructure as code, then moves to site reliability, observability and DevSecOps. The financial strand introduces the FinOps lifecycle of inform, optimise and operate, with tagging, unit economics and budget forecasting. Finally, participants study platform engineering: product thinking for internal platforms, self-service golden paths, team topologies and measurement through DORA metrics.
The programme is deliberately both strategic and practical. Executives and senior engineers build pipelines and infrastructure in labs, analyse cost data, and complete a capstone in which they present a target operating model, a prioritised roadmap and a business case for their own organisation.
By the end of the ten days, participants will be able to:
Participants complete the programme with:
The programme alternates strategy discussion with hands-on laboratory work so that leaders understand what their teams do:
Day 1: Cloud Strategy and Operating Models
Day 2: Architecture, Identity and Networking
Day 3: DevOps Foundations and Version Control
Day 4: Continuous Delivery and Infrastructure as Code
Day 5: Containers and Orchestration
Day 6: GitOps, Observability and Reliability
Day 7: DevSecOps and Policy as Code
Day 8: FinOps and Cloud Financial Management
Day 9: Platform Engineering and Team Design
Day 10: Integrated Project and Roadmap
The programme is intended for senior practitioners and leaders responsible for cloud, delivery and platform decisions, including:
Participants who attend the ten days and complete the labs and capstone are awarded a CPD-accredited Certificate of Completion by Vision Reach Global Consultancy. The certificate does not replace vendor certifications from cloud providers.
