In parallel, the FinOps module teaches tagging, allocation, showback and chargeback, rightsizing, commitment discounts and forecasting. Final days introduce platform engineering as a product, with self-service tooling for developers, and the leadership practices needed to run high-performing technical teams.
The course is lab-intensive. Participants provision real cloud resources, build and break pipelines, analyse billing data, and finish with a capstone in which they design a platform and improvement plan for their own organisation.
