Ten days train engineers and technology leaders to build a cloud operating model that is fast, secure and financially accountable. You design multi-account landing zones on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, write infrastructure as code with Terraform, and construct CI/CD pipelines with Git, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, automated testing, container registries and progressive delivery.
Later days cover Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps with Argo CD, observability with Prometheus and Grafana, SRE practice, service level objectives and incident response. Security topics include DevSecOps scanning, secrets management, policy as code and identity. FinOps sessions teach tagging, showback and chargeback, rightsizing, commitments and unit economics, while platform engineering sessions assemble golden paths and self-service portals such as Backstage. Cloud architects, DevOps and platform engineers, SREs, IT managers, and technical finance and procurement leads will benefit. Afterwards you can stand up a working pipeline and cluster, govern costs and propose a platform roadmap. Classroom, online and in-house formats lead to a CPD-accredited certificate.
Organisations have moved workloads to the cloud faster than they have built the practices to run them. The result is familiar: environments created by hand, deployments that depend on one engineer, security reviews that arrive after release and cost reports that nobody can explain. DevOps, site reliability engineering, FinOps and platform engineering each address part of this problem, but they deliver most when combined.
The Strategic Cloud, DevOps, FinOps & Platform Engineering Training Course brings the four disciplines together over ten days. The first week establishes the foundations: cloud architecture and landing zones, infrastructure as code, version control, CI/CD, containers and an introduction to Kubernetes. The second week goes deeper into production concerns: GitOps, observability, reliability engineering, DevSecOps, cost optimisation and governance, culminating in the design and build of an internal developer platform that gives teams a safe, paved route to production.
The course is lab-intensive. Participants work in cloud sandboxes, commit code, run pipelines, deploy to clusters, break and recover systems, and analyse a sample billing dataset. A capstone project in the final two days integrates everything into a platform proposal that is presented to a panel. Prior exposure to Linux, scripting and basic networking is expected.
